What's your favorite hangover cure?
Submitted by Soup.
Alright, here comes a major party foul...I don't drink!!
Have you ever backed out on doing something you promised you'd do? Did you have a good reason for going back on your word?

Umm..yeah. Like New Year's Eve we had planned to go to this big family thing, and we both (Torey and I) knew we'd have a lot of fun, but we were both so exhausted...and I think this is the first NYE that Torey and I have spent just the two of us in several years (we're normally at a family function), and that was really cool for both of us.
National Treasure: Book of Secrets is mega-fun!

What are your rituals or traditions for starting off a new year?
Well, I've never really had any rituals at New Years. Nor resolutions. I used to always say, "If you don't make any resolutions, you won't have anything to feel guilty about when you don't stick to them later in the year!"
I've never been a huge New Year fan--I don't drink, don't have friends here in AZ (aside from my husband of course), AND, most importantly--I don't think we should wait for just the start of a new Roman Calendar Year to resolve to make changes in our lives.
I've spent the past year and half or more really, really working on myself--making changes, doing my best to take better care of myself...and it's a tough, year-round job!!
Anyways, last night to celebrate the New Year, Torey and I went to see the new 'National Treasure' movie. It was completely awesome, better than the 1st I think, and I can't wait for the next one. It was so lovely to spend NYE in a nearly empty theatre with my husband-bestfriend, just the two of us, enjoying a good fun adventure flick. It was the best NYE I've had in quite a while.
Now we're off to get some eye medicine for Lola...she's got a very irritated and gunky eye that we've got to take care of, stat!

Which cartoon character best represents you?
Submitted by Know It All.
Umm, maybe like Mika Suzuki Sensei from Doki Doki School Hours, or Chiyo-Chan or Miss Sakaki or Osaka from Azumanga Daioh? I am smart but goofy and tiny and red-headed and quiet and embarrass easily, and I LOVE CATS and I love cute little things and feel awkward around many people. I also love food and sweets and sleeping and reading and laughing.
Moonlight, Moonlight Sleeping!

What movie can you quote by heart?
Submitted by clamhead.
"I'm not in love with Robbie Hart now, I'm in love with Robbie 5 years ago....Robbie, the singer of Final Warning, wearing your spandex pants, licking the microphone like David Lee Roth..."
"I've still got the spandex, I can put them on right now!"
The movie I can always quote by heart is The Wedding Singer. There are others too, like The Princess Bride. But chances are, if I'm quoting a movie, it's The Wedding Singer. What can I say? Julia Goolia just sticks in your head!
The movie Torey is always quoting is Monty Python's Holy Grail. For the longest time he would say some obscure movie line and I would have to guess the movie (this is a game my family plays), and I would never, ever figure his out. But they were, and are, almost ALWAYS Holy Grail. So now if I don't know the answer, that's always my first guess.
My Dad likes to quote Beverly Hills Cop 2, I think. Or is it 3? One of the Beverly Hills Cop movies.
I leave you with some Princess Bride: "Stop it now, I mean it!" "Does anybody want a peanut?"
"LIAR!" "Humperdink, Humperdink, Humperdink!"
Are you a morning person or a night owl?
I hate mornings. I am a night owl. I probably do my best work in the afternoon. The end.
What's the last thing you crafted, constructed or created yourself?
Ha! Excellent question, Voxie-poo! I churn out the crafty stuff every week, and I just came over to my Vox page to post my latest creations, when lo and behold, you were asking about them already. Here they are, and they're all available for sale in the Amycreates Etsy Shop, so get 'em while they're hot!:
There's plenty more where that came from. : )
