Have you ever backed out on doing something you promised you'd do? Did you have a good reason for going back on your word?

Umm..yeah. Like New Year's Eve we had planned to go to this big family thing, and we both (Torey and I) knew we'd have a lot of fun, but we were both so exhausted...and I think this is the first NYE that Torey and I have spent just the two of us in several years (we're normally at a family function), and that was really cool for both of us.
National Treasure: Book of Secrets is mega-fun!

What movie can you quote by heart?
Submitted by clamhead.
"I'm not in love with Robbie Hart now, I'm in love with Robbie 5 years ago....Robbie, the singer of Final Warning, wearing your spandex pants, licking the microphone like David Lee Roth..."
"I've still got the spandex, I can put them on right now!"
The movie I can always quote by heart is The Wedding Singer. There are others too, like The Princess Bride. But chances are, if I'm quoting a movie, it's The Wedding Singer. What can I say? Julia Goolia just sticks in your head!
The movie Torey is always quoting is Monty Python's Holy Grail. For the longest time he would say some obscure movie line and I would have to guess the movie (this is a game my family plays), and I would never, ever figure his out. But they were, and are, almost ALWAYS Holy Grail. So now if I don't know the answer, that's always my first guess.
My Dad likes to quote Beverly Hills Cop 2, I think. Or is it 3? One of the Beverly Hills Cop movies.
I leave you with some Princess Bride: "Stop it now, I mean it!" "Does anybody want a peanut?"
"LIAR!" "Humperdink, Humperdink, Humperdink!"
My Frost turns 13 this month...not sure of the date, so today we celebrated with a catnip party. Frosting took time out of her busy schedule as an undercover double agent Russian mafia spy extraordinaire. Lola went nuts. Frost and Opal were incredibly pleased. The catnip came after the hired talent--the $3 Callie Coe fluffy kitty marionette puppet we picked up at Walgreens tonight. They think it's silly, of course. Torey and I probably got more of a kick out of it then they did! They weren't fooled--they saw the strings and the hand control, and knew it was just a toy. They're too smart for us!!
Happy Birthday Frosting!!
